It is a requirement of your employment that Community Transport (Brighton, Hove and Area) Limited obtain a valid and acceptable report about you from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) at enhanced level. Where necessary we will pay a fee to obtain this report. This fee is £53.00. – For drivers and Passenger Assistants. 2. We will also pay for you to undertake appropriate Minibus Driver Assessment (Midas) training if you do not already hold this qualification. This is a portable qualification and is of benefit to you beyond your employment with us. The cost to us of you obtaining this qualification is £138.00. – Only for Drivers. 3. You agree that, where such fee and training cost are incurred by us, you will be required to reimburse us 100% of the total of such fees and costs if your employment with us terminates within the first six months of your employment or 50% if you leave later than 6 months but earlier than twelve months of your starting date with us. 4. You shall not be liable to make any reimbursement to us under this Agreement if the termination is as a result of your dismissal by reason of redundancy as defined by section 139 (1) of your employment Relations Act 1996 or by reason of your medical incapacity. 5. By entering this Agreement you agree that we shall be entitled to make a deduction from your pay or any costs or any other monies payable from us to you in order to recover the fees and costs described in clauses 1 to 3 above. 6. If you provide notice of your intention to leave our employment within the first 12 months we will provide confirmation of the amount of any sum repayable to us under this Agreement and of any deduction that we propose to make from your pay or other monies that might be due to you.(required) Appointment to this post is subject to the post holder satisfactorily passing an Enhanced level Criminal Record (DBS) check. Standard DBS checks contain details of any spent or unspent convictions, together with any cautions, reprimands or warnings recorded on the Police National Computer. In addition to recording all the information that would be recorded on a Standard check, an Enhanced check will also contain any relevant non-conviction information held locally by the police.
